Υπαρξισμός

"..the necessary and sufficient condition for a knowing consciousness to be knowledge of its object, is that it be consciousness of itself as being that knowledge. This is a necessary condition, for if my consciousness were not consciousness of being consciousness of the table, it would then be consciousness of that table without consciousness of being so....This is a sufficient condition, for my being conscious of being conscious of that table suffices in fact for me to be conscious of it. That is of course (μα φυσικα!) not sufficient to permit me to affirm that this table exists in itself - but rather that it exists for me."

"Consciousness is a being such that in its being, its being in question in so far as this being implies a being other than itself."

Αυτά, και πολλά άλλα εξίσου κατατοπιστικά σχετικά με την ύπαρξη, μας λέει ο αγαπητός Ζαν Πόλ Σάρτρ στο βιβλίο του being and nothingness. Και απλά σκέφτομαι (είμαι στη σελίδα 19) ...Αξίζει τον κόπο να διαβάσω μέχρι τη σελίδα 647 και να τελειώσω ένα βιβλίο στο οποίο τελικά πολύ αμφιβάλλω αν και ο ίδιος ακόμα ήξερε τι έγραφε?
